After many flight tests of various configurations Plus, we finally found the right combination of tail boom length and rigidity of the control system.
After many flight tests of various configurations Plus, we finally found the right combination of tail boom length and rigidity of the control system.
We increase tail booms on 140 mm and make new wing joiners.
- For new tail booms we use ultra-high module carbon for make it extra rigid.
- Other point of tail rigidity increasing is new wing joiner/boom fitting. It is extra precision now without any gap.
- The new shock-proof wing joiner not only provides sufficient rigidity for the wing during flight, but also quenches the energy in a tough landing.
We made new wing joiner for Plus with thermoplastic. Thanks Thomas Rossner from Solidtec for great idea and a lot of consultation about processing ).
We collect “Plus Update set” with very low price for your possibility to make your Plus better.
Set consist of:
-sets of two tail booms;
-4 wing joiners;
-steel control wires with set of pipes for fixing.
We advise use this set with :
- Spring-loaded horn set for KSTX08
- Additional set of tail torsions (use two torsions for each elevator)
*You will need to make new pocket for servo in your Plus tip. It is easy to make by Dremel
